Van Morrison was a let down!
The concert lasted for 85 minutes straight, with The Red Clay Strays playing continuously. Not once did he engage with the audience. He simply transitioned from one song to another, which was enjoyable, but the overall experience was a huge letdown for the amount we paid for our tickets ($125 each).
The finale was "Gloria," a great song, and then he abruptly exited the stage without performing "Brown-eyed Girl." This left us in disbelief as we sat there, thinking it couldn't be the end. However, the house lights came up, and the stage crew was already dismantling everything.
It was a huge disappointment, with the lack of interaction and missing songs contributing to our dissatisfaction.
